Where can I find live Upwork market statistics?

Short answerThe SnipeWork Upwork Market Index publishes weekly freelance market statistics — job volume, average fixed budgets, hourly rates, category shares and client countries — computed from thousands of live job posts scanned through the official Upwork API. What the index contains

Every ISO week (Mon-Sun UTC) the index aggregates all scanned public job posts into: total volume, average and median fixed budgets, average hourly rates, fixed-vs-hourly split, experience-level demand, per-category statistics across 12 Upwork categories, and top client countries. The week in progress updates daily and is finalized Sunday night; archived weeks never change, which makes them safe to cite.

Upwork itself does not publish this data, and raw job posts age out of public view quickly — the index is effectively the durable public record of the freelance market week by week.

How to use it
