Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and password (stored hashed). If you sign in via Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your name and email from those providers.
Upwork Integration Data: To connect SnipeWork to your Upwork account, you authorize access via OAuth. We store your Upwork access token (encrypted) and use it solely to interact with the Upwork API on your behalf. We do not store your Upwork password.
Profile & Preferences: Skills, categories, hourly rate range, job filter preferences, Telegram bot token, and other settings you configure inside the app.
Usage Data: Proposals generated, jobs scanned, quality scores, timestamps, and feature interactions — used to provide and improve the service.
Payment Data: Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We do not store your full credit card number or banking details. We receive transaction confirmations and subscription status from Paddle.
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and app version — collected for security, error diagnosis, and analytics.
Communications: If you contact us via email or Discord, we retain those communications to respond and improve support.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Proposal history and job scan data are retained for the duration of your subscription, plus a reasonable grace period.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, encrypted OAuth tokens, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
