Terms of Service

1. Who we are and this agreement

SnipeWork ("SnipeWork", "we", "us") is a web application available at snipework.com. It is operated by Serhii Dovhyi, a sole proprietor based in Ukraine. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using SnipeWork you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

SnipeWork is a copilot for freelancers who work on Upwork. It:

• reads new Upwork job posts through the official Upwork API (no scraping);
• filters and ranks jobs by your settings and by client signals, and gives each job a fit score and a client quality score;
• drafts proposals with an AI model when you ask it to;
• on the Ultra plan, if you turn it on, submits proposals to Upwork for you through the official Upwork API (“Auto-bid”, see below);
• sends job alerts to Telegram, Discord or Slack if you connect them;
• publishes free, public Upwork market statistics, a REST API and an MCP server.

SnipeWork never logs in to your Upwork account and never submits a proposal unless you have turned on Auto-bid. Without Auto-bid, you decide whether to apply and you send every proposal yourself on Upwork. SnipeWork is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Upwork Global Inc.

3. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
• You sign in with a Google account. Keep access to it secure; you are responsible for activity in your SnipeWork account.
• One account is for one person. Do not share it or resell access.
• Tell us at support@snipework.com if you believe your account has been used without permission.

4. Plans, trial and prices

Prices are in US dollars. Current plans:

When the trial ends your account moves to the Free plan automatically; nothing is charged. Daily limits reset every day. "Unlimited" means normal personal use by one freelancer; we may limit clearly automated or abusive usage that puts the service at risk for others. We may change prices or plans for the future; a change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a new price applies to your renewal.

5. Payments and renewal

• Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller of SnipeWork. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase, and Paddle adds sales tax or VAT where required and issues your invoice.
• Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically each month or year until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page in the app or through Paddle's customer portal. After cancellation your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan.

6. Refunds

Every payment, including renewals, comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee: email support@snipework.com within 14 days of the payment and we refund it in full through Paddle. After 14 days payments are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. The details are in the Refund Policy.

7. Auto-bid

Auto-bid is an optional feature of the Ultra plan. It is off until you turn it on and accept its terms in the app. When it is on, SnipeWork drafts proposals for new jobs that match your settings and submits them to Upwork through the official Upwork API, from the Upwork account you connected (or on behalf of an Upwork agency you belong to, if you choose one).

• In approve mode (the default) a proposal is submitted only after you approve it. In automatic mode, which you must switch on yourself, proposals that pass your rules are submitted without a separate approval, within the daily limit you set.
• Every submitted proposal is your proposal: it is sent in your name, spends your (or your agency's) Upwork Connects and is subject to Upwork's rules. SnipeWork is not liable for Connects spent, for the content of submitted proposals or for any action Upwork takes on your account.
• A test mode lets you review drafts without submitting anything. Review your prompt, rules and bid settings before you turn test mode off.
• You can pause or turn off Auto-bid, or disconnect Upwork, at any time. Auto-bid also pauses itself when Upwork reports a problem, such as no Connects left.

8. Upwork and your responsibilities

• You must follow Upwork's Terms of Service and policies. SnipeWork is designed around them (official API, human approval by default), but how you use your Upwork account, including whether and how you use Auto-bid, is your responsibility.
• AI drafts can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Review and edit every draft before you send it, and do not claim experience you do not have.
• Connecting Upwork, Telegram, Discord or Slack is optional and you can disconnect them at any time.
• We cannot guarantee that any job, client or proposal will lead to a contract, and Upwork may change its platform or API at any time.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use SnipeWork to:

• break any law or Upwork's rules, or send spam, misleading or fraudulent proposals;
• access the service or our public APIs in a way that exceeds the published rate limits, or try to bypass plan limits;
• copy, resell or sublicense the service or its output as a competing product;
• probe, attack or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data;
• harass, threaten or harm anyone.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the breach is serious (for example fraud or attacks) this can happen without notice.

10. Your content and our content

You own the content you provide and the proposals you create with SnipeWork. You give us the permission needed to store and process it to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. SnipeWork's software, design, brand and texts belong to us. Our public market pages and the Market Index may be cited with a link to snipework.com. The open dataset on GitHub is licensed under CC BY 4.0. The live REST API and MCP server are free for non-commercial use within their rate limits; contact us for commercial use.

11. Third-party services

SnipeWork relies on third parties such as Upwork, Google, Paddle, Telegram, Discord, Slack and our hosting and AI providers. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

12. Disclaimer

SnipeWork is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every job will be found, or that alerts will always arrive at a particular time.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost contracts or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to SnipeWork is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Ending the agreement

You can stop using SnipeWork and cancel your subscription at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@snipework.com. We may end or suspend the service for you under section 8, or discontinue SnipeWork with at least 30 days' notice, in which case we refund any prepaid period that has not been used.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, where SnipeWork is operated. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim in its courts. Before any formal dispute, please contact us; most issues are solved quickly by email.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
